Today we visited several places in Georgia. Our first stop was Georgia Tech. This was a very nice college that centered a lot around engineering. They also seemed to be very supportive and encouraging of their women engineers. Our next stop was Emory University. A college with an extremely gorgeous campus and lots of program to offer. Then the guys and girls split up to visit Morehouse and Spelman colleges. Spelman- the all girls college had a very nice campus and a lot to offer as well. After visiting all of these wonderful colleges we headed to the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic site. This was a great experience in which we were able to pay homage to a very significant piece of our black history. All in all it was a pretty busy day but well worth the experience.
