The University of Georgia

Today i visited the University of Georgia. The University of Georgia was founded in 1784 and has 40,000 acres of land. Chartered in 1785, 1st government controlled the University. The first president was Abraham Baldwin. The University of Georgia revolved mostly around Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.

There is more than 1,600 students in this college (taught through Griffin Tilton) Georgia Tech offers 13 study abroad classes in a countries on five continents. This is 1st college with a business school. The football stadium has 92,000 seats in it, and this was #4 for their science productivity in agricultural science and they are the oldest college of agriculture. The UGA licensed turf grass grows on every continent except Antarctica (results from their research).

The University of Georgia has a very beautiful campus and I would love to to go to this school.

One College in One Day-YAY

Today, of July 16, 2014 we visited University of Georgia, I was very happy when we just had to visit one college, it brought a tear to my eye, but I actually stacked up on a lot of information, like this college is ranked No.4 by the national Research council for scientific productivity in American colleges of agricultural science. This campus was actually three times bigger than Georgia Tech, it’s actually as big as a small city, I was kinda amazed when I heard that. this tour we had to self-guide ourselves again, but we had a tour guide, but just one of our own, and that person was me, so we got a map and a packet which had all the history on the different buildings and got to it, a lot people said it was best tour they had in a while.

Better and Better

Today we visited The University Of Georgia, I really enjoyed this college. The campus is really big, they even had a Starbucks. They provide 13 abroad classes. This college had a superstition that, if you walk under the temple you wouldn’t graduation. It’s funny because they didn’t notify anybody about it after we took a picture under it. I walked under it so I might be a little curious if that’s true. That little myth wouldn’t stop me, it’s just going to make me work just a little bit harder.

Today was exciting. It was fun, we had a long bus drive though. Our bus driver gave us a little tour while we were driving to our destination. Right now I can this college tour is only going to get better and better. The students looked busy, but not stressed. This college was amazing and if I go to college in Georgia this will be an option

Self-Guided Tour of U of G

Today we self- guided ourselves through the University of Georgia. One thing I know for sure is that this campus it’s absolutely humongous, the stadium holds 92,000 people! There are also two other main campuses located in Georgia. I was completely overwhelmed and don’t think that I would want to attend this college because I could easily get lost and I don’t think I would be able to have a personal bond with my professor because there are so many students.

The Big School of Georgia

I loved how the school was really new looking. The school was huge. The University of Georgia is about the same size as Princeton. They had a very nice stadium. I am considering the University of Georgia as a choice for me. The only thing about all the schools in Georgia is how it is always hot down here. That plays a factor in my decision. Since I’m an incoming junior I have to start heavily looking into these schools that grab my attention.

The Rush

Hello ! Welcome to Channel 3360 for College Tour action news ! The weather temperature was great today, 86 degrees and sunny skies. The University of Georgia, also known as College of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences, was featured in today’s highlight school of the day. Although we did not take an official tour with the school, our short self-guided tour around campus with Rian as our tour guide was fun. CAES campus is as large as a small town , you can get lost 😮 and has much to offer to the students studying in the sciences or environmental fields. The university is centered around agriculture and environmental sciences. They are serious about enriching their community through scientific research and providing service to the environment. Although I would not attend this college because their areas of study is not something I am interested in. CAES is famous for many things from their science productivity to their peanuts to researched turgrass grown on different continents . Fun Fact : They were the first school with a business school and their football stadium has 92,000 seats ! Wow ! The stadium can seat the whole family. BREAKING NEWS ! BREAKING NEWS ! This just in ! Florida Bound

Today we only made it to one college, University of Georgia. The campuses in Atlanta are huge! University of Georgia is probably bigger than the town that i live in and it probably holds more people! It was self-guided so I was nervous that I was not going to be able to get all of the information that I need. One of the students directed us on the tour and he did an outstanding job. Gave me information about the college. Now we are off to Florida!

Quick But Significant

one college

Today we only toured one college. It was a self guided tour and we allowed Ryan to tell us all about the wonderful University of Georgia. We started the tour by bus, then walked for about 40 minutes seeing some of the campus including their HUGE stadium. Their football stadium holds 92,000 people comfortably. As for the campus, it was beautiful. I would consider this school for college.
