Not THAT Busy, but FUn

After several hours on a bus we reached our first destination at Atlanta Metropolitan State College. I liked that the campus was small, but there were no dorms on campus to live in. Overall it was an okay school. Our next stop was Clark Atlanta University. We toured this college a few years ago and it still really catches my attention; I love that it offers biology and chemistry majors. Our last stop of the day was at The Varsity, it’s a very fast paced hotdog/ burger drive in restaurant. So all in all our first day wasn’t all that busy, but still fun.

Day One!

Today we visited Atlanta Metropolitan State and Clark Atlanta. While I enjoyed every moment being at Clark Atlanta, Atlanta Metropolitan stole some of my excitement about the college tour. It was our very first tour for the year and the tour guide did not make me excited about attending college next year. Although she was trying, many of our questions could not be answered and our tour was a little less than boring. The tuition was very affordable, but I could not see myself attending there.
However, Clark Atlanta did not disappoint me. I had previously been there with the college tour and they put on a show for us with there traditional “Panther Lean.” I had hoped to see it again but there weren’t as many students on campus as there were the last time we came. The tour guide did a phenomenal job though. He gave us information that not only applied to Clark, but to all colleges in general. His words of wisdom gave me something to think about as I enter my senior year.
We also went to the Varsity, which is a restaurant similar to our Coney Island except larger. That got a thumbs down from me! It was not good at all but I guess the experience is what matters in the end.
